    <title>American Poetry Anthology Award</title>

    <description>The 2006 American Poetry Anthology Award goes to Michael Dumanis and Cate Marvin, editors and Sarabande Books, publisher for Legitimate Dangers: American Poets of the New Century.  The award is presented annually in the winter from Pudding House Publications and the National Unitarian Universalist Poets Cooperative. The purpose of the award to is recognize collections of risk, artful quality, and/or major impact in applied poetry.  Nominations are open to everyone.</description>

    <title>Pudding House adds a Flash presentation to it's opening page</title>

    <description>A virtual amusement part for poets--and Pudding House just added a new ride!  Check out the new flash on the main page with original music score written by Matthew Bradford. 

The largest literary small press in America, Pudding House Publications, is moving so fast we could/should give hourly updates.  The new Flash presentation presents the poetry fine arts collaboration between David Chorlton (art) and Jennifer Bosveld (poem on 13 frames of Chorlton's paintings) just released on a limited edition signed and numbered print.     <title>The Red Wheel Barrow Award Announced</title>

    <description>Deborah Grayson, a Florida sex therapist and well known arts therapist, has received the Red Wheel Barrow Award and publication of her collection 'What We Can't Take With Us', just released by Pudding House.  The chapbook will debut at The Rattlebox, the open mic reading on Saturday April 22, 8pm, at the Boston Tremont Courtyard hotel and award presentation at 9pm at that event which is open to the greater Boston poetry community.</description>

    <title>David Chorlton wins the Give 'em Shelter Award from Pudding House</title>

    <description>$2000 has been split between the winning poet, David Chorlton, and the Open Shelter in Columbus Ohio.  His chapbook, Places You Can't Reach, was released February 9, 2006 from Pudding House.  $8.95 + $2.50 postage and handling.</description>

    <title>Nine poets on nine Bradford images</title>

    <description>Ekphrastic poems on the photography of H. Eugene Bradford chosen for limited edition signed/numbered fine arts chapbook.  90% of the poets invited submited work fine enough to make the choices difficult.  Announced yesterday, the following will have poems published beside the photographs in the upcoming fine arts chapbook, to be released on the Ides of March.  $100 for this very limited edition signed/numbered treasure.     <title>Another new collection by Mark Hartenbach, Land of Nod, released</title>

    <description>House poet Mark Hartenbach's music compostitions, poetry, and prose enjoy equal exposure and praise.  Former rock band Weezer star, Mikey Welsh, has created the cover art for Hartenbach's next two chapbooks, Black Notebook and Carp Head Replica. Due out this spring.  Hartenbach's childhood buddy, Dan Johnson, is the subject of the movie that recently received Best Director at Sundance.  'The Devil and Dan Johnson' is coming soon to a serious theatre perhaps not near you.  (These great nontraditional theaters are few and far between.)  Look for it.</description>

    <title>Pudding House Workshop series returns in 2006</title>

    <description>Leadership by acclaimed USA Slam poet Rose Smith.  Rose's poems work on the page and rival the academics for depth and art.  She's also a nationally top ranked slam poet according to the results of the slam competition last year in Albuquerque - 13th out of the hundreds of entrants.  She'll be leading the 2006 Pudding House Poetry Salon held on the second Saturday of each month, starting Feb.11.
